Capital Construction Project Timeline 2024/2026
Updated October 15, 2025: Wastewater Interconnect Project-November 1, 2025 is the target date for completion of Phase II of the sewer pipe connection construction between the school and the BH CC Sanitation District. ESCO is finishing up areas of construction near the Black Hawk Fire Station and along Highway 119 from now until November 1. All Highway 119 and Paradise Valley Parkway detours are set to end on or before November 1, 2025.
GCSD and ESCO Construction thank you for your patience and understanding when experiencing travel delays on Highway 119 and Paradise Valley Parkway as a result of the one lane traffic.
Phase III will be the final phase of sewer pipe construction and should occur primarily on the southwest part of the school property. Detours on Highway 119 and Paradise Valley Parkway are not expected. Construction of the connection point for the sewer pipe along with the decommissioning of the current wastewater treatment plant on the campus will complete the project.
