Fire Drill Tomorrow

Gilpin School Community Members,
All students and staff will be participating in a Safety Drill on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 sometime between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Students and staff will practice an Evacuate! drill. Staff will lead students to the Fire Evacuation assembly area outside of the school building. The safety drill will last about 10 minutes. The District conducts safety drills throughout the school year, usually one each month. The purpose we drill safety procedures is so we are all "Emergency Prepared." There is no other reason to have a safety drill tomorrow other than to practice.
